Material Services Barge
A ladder leading to the crew quarters of the Material Services Barge.  One of the most popular wrecks in Lake Michigan.  The irregular look to the surfaces is due to the encrusting zebra mussels which literally coat all surfaces.
A view from inside the cargo hold of the Material Services Barge.  The ship was a self-unloading gravel carrier.  Gravel slid down the inclines and was picked up by a conveyer belt which ran beneath.  It was then carried over the side of the ship into a waiting railcar, etc.
A view of one of the twin massive propellors and rudders of the Material Services Barge.
Part of one of the twin diesel engines of the Material Services Barge.  You can even see the valve rocker arms and fuel injector lines still intact.
